The biochar plant at Mære Agricultural School was put into operation in February 2026, marking an important step in the development of new sustainable solutions in agriculture.
The biochar plant is financed with funds from Klimasats (the Norwegian Environment Agency), Bionova (Innovation Norway) and Trøndelag County Council.
