NTE is a Trøndelag-owned renewable energy company that has been producing and delivering green and renewable energy to its customers for over a hundred years. NTE delivers electricity to customers all over the country.
In addition to supplying electricity to 200,000 individual users, NTE also provides fiber internet to 130,000 residents of Trøndelag. NTE also provides electrician services, solar systems, electric car chargers, advisory services and energy solutions.
Mære has, together with NTE, WEN Energy, Norwegian Agricultural Advisory Service and Trøndelag County Council, built an integrated solar cell system of 192 m2 on our suckling pond. The electricity produced is delivered to the greenhouse and provides light for the Mære tomatoes. From this year, the tomatoes will be grown with a large proportion of self-produced energy from the heat storage and solar cells.
