Towards zero emissions

The zero-emission farm is our vision. But is it possible to achieve zero emissions from a farm?

At Mære and Skjetlein we are testing and demonstrating new possible solutions. There is no easy path to zero emissions, but with this vision we are going in the right direction. At a lunch webinar on June 4, 2024, hosted by FME-ZEN Torger Mjønes of Trøndelag County Municipality and Tove Hatling Jystad of the Green Competence Center Mære-Skjetlein spoke about the work and how far we have come on the path towards zero emissions at Mære Agricultural School.

When we use the term zero emissions, this includes both greenhouse gas emissions and carbon sequestration.
